At least six people were killed Wednesday as a spring tornado outbreak devastated parts of North Texas, destroying or damaging dozens of homes and injuring dozens of people.

Top 10 tornado-prone U.S. cities

Weather Channel tornado expert Dr. Greg Forbes made a list of the most tornado-prone cities based on data from 1962-2011 from the National Weather Service’s Storm Prediction Center.

Severe Weather Expected Later Today

You should be alert today as most of north Georgia is under the "moderate risk" of severe weather. The Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Ok says the primary threat from these storms will be tornadoes, large hail and widespread damaging winds.
