Tibbett Fundraiser Festival - Sunday June 3rd - at the Melting Point (3pm - 8p) All ages and families welcome! $15 adv / $20 dos/ $5 kids 16 and under. Some of Athens' best musicians are joining forces to raise funds to help offset the medical expenses of Athens' public school teacher, Jan Tibbett. Bring the kiddies, bring your friends to the Melting Point and enjoy the sounds of Romper Stompers, The Heap, Taste Like Good and Dr Arvin Scott. There will be fun for everyone. Dr. Scott and Domino 'Sunny' Ortiz (Widespread Panic) will start the day off with an all ages drum clinic. A huge raffle and fun activities are planned for the kids while the bands play into the evening.
