Support: Bobby Compton Caylee Anna The Kinchafoonee Cowboys began in December, 1991 in a pecan orchard in Terrell County, GA. The band's name comes from the Kinchafoonee Creek - a tributary of the Flint River that flows through Lee County and Albany. The band's popularity soon spread to Athens, GA where several members were in college at UGA. The band currently holds records at the Georgia Theatre for most shows played, most sold-out shows, and thanks to the greatest fans in the world, highest bar sales!
