After stumbling against the Tar Heels and with a showdown with in-state rival Florida State on the horizon, will the Hurricanes overlook the Demon Deacons? Probably not. But if Wake wins, I'm using that as a way to say "SEE SEE I TOLD YOU!"
Vanderbilt, probably the best 4-3 team out there, travels to College Station to face Joh--ah, screw it. You know what I was going to say.
Hello London, my old friend
I've come to watch you lose again
Because the clock is now ticking and Cavaliers have left their seats
And those timeouts you had throughout the game
Within the sound of Wahoos.
A lot of people are pointing to this game as their big upset for the week. I think it'll probably turn into a Nick Saban Woodshed Special. And not the kind co-hosted by Bob Vila.
With that Miami showdown looming (LOOMS I SAY! COLONIAL LOOMS!) Florida State might have gotten a better test from an intra-squad scrimmage.
Texas Tech, still undefeated, gets its first major test and we'll see what their offense is really made of against a really solid Oklahoma defense.
The marquee game of the week features two of the strongest teams in the PAC12 and features two very talented quarterbacks. This would *probably* be a decent viewing option. Probably.
Contest: write tomorrow's newspaper headline for this one in the comments below. The comment with the most "recs" by the end of the day will get an awesome GIF as a prize. GIF, not GIFT. I'm not made of GIFTS. Nor am I made of GIFs. IF ONLY.
This is another that appears on upset alert lists for the weekend. Honestly, I'd be more shocked by this upset than Tennessee over Alabama.
Your typical late-night game has the added bonus of two ranked teams! Huzzah!
