One school has been hot on the heels of a few of the remaining targets on UVA's board. That school is the Penn State Nintany Lions. A school that has hsitorically recruited well in this area and is having a great start to their season. PSU stands at 4-2 on the season and just knocked off Michigan in a game for the ages. They have great young talent, especially at quarterback in Virginia native Christian Hackenberg. They have a great tradition, great facilities and coaching. PSU is an attractive place for a recruit and with UVA's struggles its no wonder some recruits are starting to look around.
Some of the most notable are OLB/DE target Melvin Keihn from Baltimore, MD Gilman. He has the tools an explosiveness to be a very versatile player in college who could play multiple positions. Most had UVA and VT ranked high as his top two options. His twitter feed (@M_15onmychest) showed his excitement when he recently landed an offer to follow his teammate Troy Vincent Jr. to Penn State. He will be in Charlottesville this Saturday for an official to watch UVA take on Duke and I cannot stress the importance of a good outcome for UVA.

Big time target Jamil Kamara set his official visit dates and he will be visiting UVA 11/30 for our annual game against Virginia Tech. If he keep his recruitment open that long it could be great for UVA to come out and have a great showing against VT. It would help solidify to some of these kids that the program is heading in right direction and is just a few players away. (h/t @panther_247)
-Andrew Brown appears ready to get on campus. Him and Blanding are a virtual lock as long as Mike London remains in place.
