More stormy weather moving into Georgia

ATLANTA —

Forecasters are warning that more severe storms could be moving into Georgia.

The National Weather Service says stormy weather could be arriving Wednesday afternoon, and showers and thunderstorms are predicted in the north and central parts of the state Wednesday afternoon and evening after patchy morning fog. Forecasters say hail is a possibility.

The weather service says the chance of thunderstorms persists through the week.

High temperatures are expected to be in the mid-70s for north and central Georgia Wednesday and warmer in the south, possibly reaching the low 90s.
