The second of three public hearings on a new Clarke County School System budget is set for 6 o’clock this evening at Gaines Elementary School on Gaines School Road in Athens. The hearings wrap up Thursday at Clarke County School District Administrative offices, with a final School Board vote on the spending plan and its millions of dollars in school system spending cuts scheduled for June 14.
