Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed is back in Athens today: he was the speaker at the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce’s annual meeting; Reed returns to deliver the annual Holmes-Hunter Lecture at the University of Georgia. It’s a speech named in honor of the first two black students to attend UGa. The Reed remarks are set for 2 o’clock this afternoon in the Chapel on North Campus.
