A day after he said he will not attend this summer’s Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, former Athens-Clarke County Commissioner and current east Georgia Congressman John Barrow announced that will vote in favor of a contempt of Congress citation for U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder. Democrat Barrow will join House Republicans in the vote that stems from the ongoing controversy over the Fast and Furious gunrunning operation that supplied weapons to Mexican drug cartels.
