Big Turnout for Copeland Blood Drives

Dozens of people turned out for Wednesday blood drives at the University of Georgia, donating blood in honor of Aimee Copeland. UGa held Aimee Copeland blood drives at Reed and Memorial Halls. Copeland is a UGa alum and University of West Georgia graduate student who remains hospitalized in Augusta, recovering after multiple amputations. The 24 year-old Copeland contracted a flesh-eating bacteria after a May 1 ziplining accident in Carroll County.
