The three Republican candidates running for Congress in the newly-reconfigured 9th Congressional District meet in a candidates forum, 6:30 this evening at Jackson EMC offices in Jefferson. Hall County state Rep Doug Collins will be joined by Martha Zoller and Roger Fitzpatrick in the forum and on the July 31 GOP primary ballot. Another candidates forum talks place this evening in Flowery Branch. Candidates for a seat in the Georgia House and for the Hall County Commission Chairman’s post meet in a 6:30 session at the Spout Springs Library in Flowery Branch, a forum hosted by the South Hall Republican Club.
