Wilson Heaton posts bond and walks out of the Clarke County jail: the 22 year-old Cartersville man surrendered to Athens-Clarke County Police last week on charges stemming from a February 16 hit-and-run wreck on Oak Street. Heaton was allegedly drunk behind the wheel of the truck that struck and critically injured Emily Bowman. The 19 year-old Kennesaw State University student from Woodstock left Athens Regional Medical Center last week and is now rehabbing at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta.
