So much for that story: a Jackson County man could face charges after telling Athens-Clarke County Police he was shot and wounded during a robbery at a convenience store on Commerce Road. The man was shot and wounded, but now admits it happened during a home invasion in Jackson County. It’s not clear why he changed the story about the Wednesday shooting.
