No CO detectors in Clarke Co schools

Clarke County School District officials say they will look into the feasibility of putting carbon monoxide detectors in schools: the devices are not required by law and are not installed in any local schools. The issue comes to light after this week’s carbon monoxide leak at an elementary school in Atlanta. More than 50 students and teachers had to be treated after inhaling the potentially deadly gas.
