The state Board of Regents meets in a special called session later today, convening via conference call to vote on a search committee's selection for UGa provost Jere Morehead as the replacement for retiring University of Georgia president Michael Adams. That search committee last week named Morehead as the sole finalist for the president's post. Dr. Adams steps down in June.
