The state Board of Regents makes it official, meeting via conference call Monday to ratify the choice of Jere Morehead as the next President of the University of Georgia. Morehead, now the Provost at UGa, will take over for a retiring Michael Adams in July. He was the only finalist on a list put forward by a search committee appointed to find Adams’ replacement.
