Remains ID'd, Murder Probe in Morgan Co

By Tim Bryant

A six-year-old missing person's case is now considered a homicide.   A skull and other remains found in Morgan County a year ago have now been identified as an Army veteran, who's been missing in Gwinnett County since 2006. The Morgan County Sheriff's Office said the remains found back in November 2011 belong to Jason M. Roark.  Detectives are now officially calling it a murder case. His vehicle was found at a rest area in Morgan County shortly after his disappearance. Roark was an Army Vet who served two terms in Iraq.  But, less than a year after he returned home to Gwinnett County, Georgia, he went missing.
