The funeral for veteran broadcaster Roland Brooks is set for 2 o’clock Friday afternoon at the First Baptist Church of Athens: Brooks’ career as a farm and garden radio broadcaster spanned three decades, with more than 10,000 reports. He died this week at Athens Regional Medical Center, age 78.
