Supreme Court hears arguments in Athens

By Tim Bryant

The Georgia Supreme Court heard Wednesday arguments in Athens, convening at the University of Georgia to hear an appeal in a death penalty case from Glynn County. David Edenfield was convicted in 2009 and sent to death row for the murder 6 year-old Christopher Barrios, who was killed in a trailer park outside Brunswick. The Justices heard arguments in that case and an appeal in a medical malpractice suit in a court session at the University of Georgia Law School.
