Two more public hearings on changes at the Athens-Clarke County Transit Service are set for today: 3 o’clock this afternoon and 6 o’clock this evening, both at the Multi-Modal Center near downtown Athens. Athens Mayor Nancy Denson had proposed eliminating some evening bus hours; those hours have been spared by budget-trimming Athens-Clarke County Commissioners, but Transit Service fares will increase.
