The winds that howled all night last night are expected to blow through the day today: the National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for Athens and north Georgia, in effect through 7 o’clock tonight. The winds are ushering in some of the coldest weather so far this season, with temperatures expected to dip into the 20s both Saturday and Sunday mornings.
