David Beckham confirms role at London Olympics
David Beckham had high hopes of playing for Team Britain at this years London games, but was denied by coach Stuart Pearce. However the English ace says he will have a role in the opening ceremony of the London Olympics. Beckham told The Associated Press, "It is some kind of role in the opening ceremony, which I am honored to be involved in because obviously I was involved in the start process with this seven years ago."
