I am getting ready to get back in the studio on Monday and I kicked off the New Year Live at the 13th Annual Polar Bear Swim for the Lanier Canoe and Kayak Club. The Outdoor World sponsored the broadcast and almost 100 brave (or crazy) people jumped into 46 degree Lake Lanier water. The highlight of the day was the 5 year old boy who jumped for the first time and the 7 foot tall man in a Speedo making the biggest cannonball jump I'd ever seen. And our own Matt Chastain served as Emcee and the final jumper. (http://www.gainesvilletimes.com/news/article/27838/).

Coming up this week, we'll keep you up to date on the news of the day and look forward to the legislative session under The Gold Dome. And oh, yea, it's election year so there's lots to talk about it. I'll give you my take. We'll also talk to Ray Stevens, who has come out of retirement to oppose Obamacare, (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dc_-L4fyLUo). We will also talk with Michael Steele about his new book, "Right Now." (http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Right-Now/Michael-Steele/e/9781596981089).

Tune in every day just after 9 and join me on the phone at 877 872 5275, but hang on for a new number when we move into our new digs in Gainesville, Georgia.
