Zoller and Bryant: The 3 Big Things Today--GAGOP Dust UP, SOTU Preview, Milton County

The GAGOP Dust Up settled from the mass precinct meetings in Douglas County.  Justin Tomczak , a strong grassroots activist will give us the lay of the land, but also we'll talk about what this means.  Are Republcans aiming to throw away their majority in Georgia?  If we are supposed to be reaching out to minorities, then treating Michael McNeeley with such disrespect is not the right message.  He's running for 1st Vice Chair.  Also, there is a new candidate in the race for GA GOP chair, John Padgett.  Maria Stollo Zack told me she was getting in, but we haven't heard anymore from her. Last night, I spoke to a Forsyth County Tea Party meeting and there is talk of a third party.

We will preview the SOTU (State of the Union).  With all the economy talk, the fact is the big issues will be guns.  My friend, Jim Galloway bets there will be a split screen with former Representative Gabby Giffords and Ted Nugent.  And Vice President Joe Biden says, "we are counting on the legitimate media to help us with gun control."  I did an interview in Canada this weekend, they think we are gun totin' cowboys shooting people in the streets every day.  I set them straight.

And, we'll look under the Gold Dome at a great revenue report for January and the talk of Milton County.  Zoller City, anyone?

We will take the last segment and look at the status of the resignation of the Pope.  Lightning struck St. Peter's, a sign?  Where does a retired Pope go?  It appears to prayer and to a convelescent convent.
