How will the Sequester effect Georgia?  Jamie Dupree will chime in on that.  Regardless of the scare tactics, it's just not that much money.  So take the cuts and lets move on.  I am in the camp of letting it go and seeing what happens.  Then Congressional Republicans need to hit the road and explain what is going on. It's not that much money.  The House sent two solutions to the Senate and nothing happened.  Members of the Senate proposed priorities and nothing happened.  Now they are going to do a balanced approach which means more tax increases.  It won't work, so take the cuts and the talk about it. 

Daytona 500 made history in a couple of ways.  Danica Patrick at the pole position and a horrific crash.  Will the PC'ers try to change NASCAR? Danica came in 8th and that's great.  You gotta have the best time to win, and she didn't have the best time. There was a huge crash on Saturday that send a number of spectators to the hospital. What will that mean for NASCAR?  We shall see. 

DeKalb Schools will hear from the Governor today.  Already heard from Judge Story on Friday.  The Governor's office is expected to announce they will remove the six,  then put two back on and name a nominating panel to suggest replacements for the other four. Of course, all if this could potentially be stopped by courts. So we won't know immediately if they're actually removed from office. 

And I watched a little of the Oscars.  Disappointed the 5 Bonds didn't show, but wasn't Shirley Bassi great!  And too many silly Oscars early and too much banter. Let's get to it.  Streisand and Adele were great and I like the best songs being performed.  Mrs. Obama did Best Picture, and that was a little weird.  I know Reagan, the Bushes and Clintons all had roles at the Oscars.  Heck, George W Bush and Laura Bush did a video for American Idol.  I just don't like it.  Too much connection from Hollywood to Washington.
